About

Christ Centered Love was formed out of a desire for the truth about God’s Word, and a need to share those truths with others who are facing deception in the church or going through tough trials and storms.

I am saved by the grace of God.  I take every step I make in my life very cautiously, knowing that at the end of the day, I long to hear “Well done good and faithful servant.”

I grew up in the church, but as I got older, I gave into my own desires and refused to follow the Lord.  Thankfully, the Lord had other plans for me.  When I was at a point where I didn’t think I could take another step in this world, I cried out to the Lord for help.  From that moment on, the Lord has brought me closer to Him and the truth of His Word.  He has lifted me up, given me strength, and placed a love for others in my heart like I’ve never known (or thought possible).

I am eternally grateful for the sacrifice that the Lord made for me.  It is because of that gratitude that I humbly submit my life to the Lord in obedience to His Word.  It’s not always easy, but it’s definitly right.

I believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God.  I take His commands very seriously.  I believe that we are to “be in the world but not of it”.  It is because of that belief that I find myself filled with God’s love and unspeakable joy despite the trials and storms of my life.

I am a Covenant Keeper.  I believe in the sanctity of marriage and upholding the vows that I spoke on my wedding day.  Despite the issues in my own marriage and having a spouse that is not a believer, I believe that God designed marriage to be forever.  It is through my faith and obedience that I am able to lay down all of my self and seek the best for my spouse, regardless of what the world thinks is best in my situation.

It is because of my own personal trials and storms that this blog was created.  The Lord has opened my eyes, and I pray that the Lord will use my voice to help others see the truth of His Word and turn to Him for strength, healing and restoration.

    • Welcome to the site jd. Thank you for your encouragement.

Satan is working overtime. Marriages and families are his favorite battlefield. If he can tear apart what God put together, he thinks he’s one step closer to winning. However, God wins everytime and Satans battle is already lost.

It is my prayer that more professing Christians take a look at themselves and their marriages from the truth of God’s word and stop making excuses to separate and divorce. God doesn’t accept excuses.
